Seminar “Cables & Automation – The Backbone of Modern Industry”
On April 2, 2025, we HELUKABEL Vietnam successfully held the seminar "Cables & Automation – The Backbone of Modern Industry" at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, attracting a large number of students interested in the field of industrial automation.
Notable highlights of the seminar
The seminar was a collaboration between HELUKABEL Vietnam and the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. This marked the second time we have organized a specialized seminar on cables and automation at the university, continuing our mission to share practical knowledge with future engineers. The event drew strong participation, reflecting the growing interest in industrial automation – one of the most rapidly evolving sectors in the Industry 4.0 era.
With their practical experience in projects, the two speakers, Mr. Prapan Angsuthasawit – General Director of HELUKABEL Vietnam, and Mr. Le Tran Chinh – Sales Manager of HELUKABEL Vietnam, delivered highly informative and valuable insights - especially for students of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
The seminar began with an overview of industrial automation, helping students understand the role and development trends of this field in modern industry. Following that, students explored the basic structure of industrial cables - from each layer of material to how every small detail is designed to meet strict technical requirements. In the cable selection section, Mr. Chinh introduced several key criteria to help students identify the right type of cable for specific applications. The seminar concluded with a visually engaging session on drag chains, illustrated with vivid images and practical examples.
Throughout the seminar, the atmosphere became even more lively with interactive activities and group discussions. Many students were especially excited to see, touch, and examine real cable samples, allowing them to connect classroom theory with real-world applications.
The seminar was more than just an opportunity for students to gain specialized knowledge, it also served as a bridge between us and the university. We HELUKABEL Vietnam believe that through practical and insightful seminars like this, students will be inspired and better motivated with a clearer direction as they pursue careers in the promising field of industrial automation.
