Currently, Mr. Prapan Angsuthasawit is the Director of HELUKABEL Vietnam. He has had nearly 20 years working at HELUKABEL Group and has been leading the brand's development in the Vietnam market.
Almost 20 years of growth with the company
Prapan was born and raised in Thailand known as “The Land of Smile”. After graduating with a major in engineering in Thailand, he has been working at HELUKABEL Group for nearly 20 years. This period is long enough for him to consider HELUKABEL corporation as his second family.
“I have received a lot of positive values from the HELUKABEL during my career. There are many reasons for me to be with HELUKABEL Group until now, but among them, I appreciate two things. First, the organization always creates new opportunities for me, as well as other employees, to develop. In particular, I feel appreciated and heard all the time. I feel lucky to work in such an open environment. And I am also creating a similar working environment for my employees at HELUKABEL Vietnam," shared Prapan.
“In 2004, realizing the potential for growth in the Vietnam market, we started planning to expand the market. In 2016, HELUKABEL Vietnam was officially established and put into operation after many attempts to convince the group to agree to invest in a new market”
After a long period of researching and analyzing the market in Vietnam, Prapan and his associates realized the potential for business development in Vietnam and started planning to expand the market. After our constant efforts, in 2016, HELUKABEL Vietnam was officially founded with the recognition and support of the HELUKABEL Group.
“Starting is never easy. What matters is how you turn difficulties into opportunities.”
“In the days when HELUKABEL was present in the Vietnam market, I faced many difficulties and challenges. Everything is new, and we do not have an existing source of customers and have to start from scratch. Moreover, we also lacked the personnel to support us in the working process. But instead of choosing to give up, we continued to try to develop HELUKABEL Vietnam,” Prapan said.
Prapan faced other difficulties in the days when he first arrived in Vietnam. He shared: “In the first phase of coming to Vietnam to focus on developing the company, it took me time to learn how to adapt to the new environment, culture, food, and life in a new country. Moreover, I also have to know the culture to work with Vietnam partners."
From the difficulties in the past up to now, HELUKABEL Vietnam has experienced 6 years of establishment and development. To talk about memorable moments, we cannot forget the difficult period in 2016, the first year when the company was founded. Besides, the historic victory in 2020 also marked an important milestone, since it is when our solar cable line has grown explosively. At that time, our products, HELUKABEL, promptly solved the difficulties of domestic customers, helped them complete projects on schedule, and became familiar partners of the company.
Therefore, with the constant efforts of the leaders and employees at HELUKABEL Vietnam, we have become a brand specializing in supplying electrical wires, cables, and cable accessories that many partners trust in the Vietnam market.

“Currently, the employees at the company are of different ages and are gradually getting younger. Therefore, I try to learn to adapt and update my knowledge every day to catch up with the trend. I listen more to understand how young people work. With the enthusiasm and energy that young people have, I believe the company will develop very well in the future”, Prapan shared.
According to Prapan, young people need to remember three key success factors: curiosity, discipline, and a “can do” mindset. In work and life, curiosity will motivate us to constantly keep learning, creating, and connecting the dot. Besides, discipline and a mindset of believing that we can do it will help us overcome difficulties, complete our work well, and stay optimistic in situations.
In addition, Prapan also reminded the younger generation that, when facing difficulties, even failures, do not be discouraged; "Always believe that you can do it. If you can't achieve what you want today, as long as you persevere and work hard, you will be able to do it in the future." True luck only comes to those who have prepared well in advance, and to become a lucky person, you need to work hard every day to be able to seize the right opportunity at the right time.
