The students of the Flight Science Association Aachen (FVA) are dedicated to the design, construction and operation of gliders and motor aircraft.

The dream of flying: For more than 100 years, the Flugwissenschaftliche Vereinigung Aachen (FVA), a group of students from the RWTH Aachen University and the UAS Aachen, has been dedicated to this fascination. In addition to their studies, the current 60 members dedicate themselves to the design, construction and operation of gliders and powered aircraft. The students also conduct research into the future of aviation in a variety of projects, allowing them to put their university knowledge into practice.

HELUKABEL supports the FVA as a sponsor with the necessary cables for the workshop equipment. For example, the NYY-J 5x16 re mm² power distribution cable is used here for the three-phase power connection and the YR bell hose cable for signal transmission to the central PLC control. The state-of-the-art electrical installation makes it much easier for the students to work in the workshop and warehouse - and thus makes an important contribution to continuing the FVA's successful tradition into the future.
