1. HELUKABEL expands its portfolio in the oil and gas industry

1.1 Instrumentation cables
Instrumentation Cables are used wherever processes need to be controlled and monitored. For example, this type of cable transmits measurement data on temperature, pressure, or flow rate and is used to control valves, temperature controllers, and signal lights. Particularly in onshore plants such as oil refineries or chemical plants, the distance between the control room and the components requiring control signals (such as valves, control lights, or sensors) can be very long. To ensure error-free signal transmission over these long distances, our instrumentation signal cables are an ideal solution for you.
1.2 Thermocouple extension cables
Commonly used in temperature measurement and control systems, especially for connecting to temperature sensors (thermocouples) to transmit temperature measurement signals to controllers or monitoring devices.

- 3 types of cable structure combinations (core/protective sheath): PVC/PVC & XLPE/PVC & XLPE/LS0H

2.2 HELUDATA® EN-50288-7 FIRE RES instrumentation cable
- Instrument cable with improved fire resistance, ensuring functional integrity even in fire conditions.
- Fire resistance according to IEC 60331-21
- 4 types of cable structures: with and without armor, with both individual shielding and overall shielding, and with only overall shielding.
- Halogen-free

2.3 HELUDATA® PLTC UL13 instrumentation cable
- UL counterpart for HELUDATA® EN-50288-7 cable:
- Power Limited Tray Cable (PLTC) is used for direct installation on cable trays (no protective conduit required).
- Two core/sheath material options: PVC/PVC (heat-resistant up to 105 °C) or XLPE/LS0H (halogen-free, low smoke).
- Structure: twisted pairs or triads, cross-section 18–14 AWG.

2.4 HELUTHERM® PLTC UL 13 / ANSI MC 96.1 thermalcouple extension cable
- Thermalcouple extension cable according to ANSI MC 96.1 standard, certified to meet UL 13 PLTC standard
- Used to measure temperature
- Power Limited Tray Cable (PLTC) is used for direct installation on cable trays (no protective conduit required).
- Two core/sheath material options: PVC/PVC (heat-resistant up to 105 °C) or XLPE/LS0H (halogen-free, low smoke).
- Versions: KX; JX; EX; TX
